President Rodrigo Roa Duterte keynotes the dinner hosted by the Philippines as host country of the 51st Asian Development Bank (ADB) Annual Meeting at the Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) Shangri-La Hotel in Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong City.
During the dinner, the President joins the ADB Governors and officials, his Cabinet Secretaries of the economic cluster, and ADB’s development partners.
Dubbed by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) as the ‘rising star’ in foreign direct investments (FDIs), and with Manila as the ADB home for more than half a century, the Philippines hosts the 51st ADB Annual Meeting.
The annual four-day premier forum by the ADB Board of Governors seeks to explore ways for bolstering inclusive growth and reducing poverty in the Asia and Pacific region through dialogue, networking, and partnerships as it convenes finance and development ministers, central bank governors, private sector, civil society organizations, media, academia, and development partners.
